Of course children pray in school – most frequently, just before the test they haven’t studied for. ^_^
Of course they pray in schools as they are taught to expect miracles instead of working for their grades.
But there are still many stupid people here in NC that still think there is a law to stop prayer in schools.
And I apologies for comparing these people to stupid people as they really are that bright.
The point you make at the end, that setting a precedent of forcing your religion onto others opens the door to others forcing their religion upon you, is one I have tried to make often in the past. The usual response I get is something along the line of, “Well, if you don’t like it you can just move somewhere else.”
So many people have no real concept of individual rights.
